Who Attends Educational Goals Students will Develop		Students working independently of each other using their matrices. The fundamental reason that parents send their children to Whispering Oaks School is their dissatisfaction with their child's current learning environment and educational success. Some of the children attending are not being challenged in their current academic situation. They seek more educational challenges and opportunities in order to achieve their learning potential. By not being challenged, these students have developed habits that are inhibiting the achievement of their true potential. Other students come to Whispering Oaks because they have the potential to be excellent students, but have weak study and/or organizational skills. The challenge for these students is to evaluate the deficiencies in their study and organizational skills and remediate these with a new paradigm. For all our students, education is an adventure. The journey is the challenge and the most important factor in the success of the journey is in the planning. The children coming to Whispering Oaks, due to past educational environmental issues, have not been prepared properly for the educational journey that meets their individual needs. We focus our planning efforts on the fundamentals of the education process. These fundamentals include, but are not limited to: Study Skills, Organizational Skills, Prioritization, Cooperation, Self Esteem, Dedication to Task, Self Improvement, and Committment to Community. There is no single stereotype of Whispering Oaks students. Each student is different, truly unique in every respect. It is our challenge to define these unique qualities and develop a learning program, that is paced to match these qualities and thereby maximize the child's learning potential. This is the true challenge, and at the same time it is both the child's and the school's reward.
